Since debuting in porn three years ago, Diesel Washington has made a big impression on the adult industry. From giving his scene partners more than a mouthful of his ginormous cock and mouthing off on his blog to getting into a verbal smackdown with Michael Lucas, Diesel has left an indelible impression on all those who come into contact with him. With the news that he is retiring from the industry due to lack of work, he's managed to attract even more attention than before. What makes him so dynamic and entertaining? Find out in our exclusive Five Questions interview after the jump.
Five Questions with Diesel Washington
1. You recently announced your retirement from the adult industry because you said you couldn’t find any work that paid you more than $900 per scene. Do you worry that people will look at you as a greedy bitch?
I announced my retirement not because of the offers of $900. It was because I really accomplished what I wanted to do in porn. I know it's a recession and all, but scene rates have taken a nose dive in the last year. And companies are just not hiring me for work because of my location and other things—I guess. It has never been about the money with me; it's been about the work for me. I also retired because I wasn't being paired with high-profile stars. I worked hard in this business, and I thought the moment I went free agent I would have a chance to work with the big names. It hasn't worked out that way!
2. So you're a size queen! You were one of the few black guys working regularly in the porn business. Did you ever look around on the set and go, “Hey, how come I’m the only dark meat all up in here?”
Sure. I think the companies are a little slow to change. There is an old formula on how to do porn, what models to use, and a certain look that companies go for. Society needs to be reflected in porn, [but] I think companies don't want to change the formula because it has worked for the last 15 years or so. I think companies need to change the format and shake up the industry a bit. Other racism is in the form of models saying they don't want to work with another model because of color issues. It's pretty sad out there! They call it "preference," which is a bullshit excuse! I don't let it bother me, though. I make scenes hotter, so if the person doesn't want to be in a hot scene, that is their problem.
3. You created a few new sexual positions, including the Cannonball. What would the title be if you were to write a sex guide?
A sex guide? [Laughs] That would be funny! And my title would be The Guide to Making Porn Interesting Again.
4. Ouch! OK, here’s a theoretical to consider: Michael Lucas comes to you and says, “I want to set things right” and offers to pay you what you’re worth for a scene in one of his movies.
I will never do a scene with Michael Lucas, no matter the scene rate...unless he bottoms. [Laughs] I think the industry is ready to see M.L. get fucked! We are getting tired of seeing all the posing and glamour shots he puts out. We need to see that smirk on his face change to horror when he is getting slam fucked balls deep. Instead of the Shameless Hole, this vid would be called The Taming of the Shrew Ass—From Big Mouth Top To A Gaping Piss-Filled Bottom Hole!
5. OK then! So, we’ve seen you do some damage to some pretty tough bottoms in the industry. Tell us about the last time you really fucked somebody so senseless that they had to take some time to recover afterward? And do you ever feel guilty for that?
Nowadays I'm quite gentle when I fuck, but three months ago I fucked a slave boy from the Black Party. He totally got used hard and he was in a lot of pain. He wanted to keep on going and going so I continued, but it got so bad that I had to shove ice into his ass just to dull the pain. He was a trooper though. About a week later, I got an e-mail from the boy, and he told me he had to go to the hospital two days later and receive stitches. So yeah, I ripped that boy a new one. Do I feel guilty? Never. That boy will remember that fucking for the rest of his life. Just the way I like it!

So basically what I am reading here is that the man who hasn't done many scenes to begin with thinks he is porn and he is pulling a Sarah Palin and won't just bow out.
I had no idea who he was till he retired. Maybe he should slam Brett C next... I mean c'mon we all love his highschool drama.

I like his look and some of his scenes but come on his blog reads like everyone owes him something and it gets old after awhile.
Maybe there is a reason why other studios are not calling and perhaps it is not because of the economy.
When a guys ego is bigger then his cock it is time to go away for awhile, or all together.

I never find attitude sexy. The hottest man in the world with a crap attitude is one giant turnoff for me. I had limited knowledge of Diesel's work prior to his announced retirement and found him somewhat appealing. However, it is unlikely that I'll be seeking out any of his additional work. It is unlikely he'll be missed much.
